What Are You Doing Behind That Desk?

How does the bunny go?   No really. Do you know?

Howdy Gorillas,
And happy happy Spring!  Suddenly deadlines get a little lax and people start smiling. Hey the sun's out and the most important rule in marketing is go where your market is. They're outdoors.

Experiential marketing, the umbrella for Guerrilla Marketing, is a fantastic way to remind (or introduce) potential clients to your business.  Experiential Marketing is defined as creating an emotional experience in which a target market can connect with your business. This type of marketing allows a customer to directly experience a product or service instead of just being told about it.

Your target market can interact, engage and participate with your product or service and are typically more receptive to your marketing message because they have made a direct investment in it. This mode of marketing includes Publicity stunts, guerrilla street marketing, guerrilla collateral marketing and many ingenious web and digital strategies.

The great news for Small Businesses is that Experiential Marketing (when done right) is highly strategic, effective, yet, extremely affordable. And here's the best part - it's a lot of fun.

Here's an example from Oreo:

Here's a great example of a low budget, high impact campaign from Attack:

Until next time... keep your eyes open. The outdoors is your medium.
